Kia Unveils Upgraded Sonet Facelift Model

Kia has unveiled its Sonet Facelift model with upgraded features. The booking of the updated model, featuring a new design and features, has also commenced from December. The Sonet Facelift model will compete with popular cars like Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, and Tata Motors’ popular car, Tata Nexon.

Comparing New Kia Sonet and Hyundai Venue

Kia Sonet’s facelift model comes in three variants, namely, HTE, HTK, HTK+, HTX, HTX+, GTX+, and X-line. In contrast, the Hyundai Venue also has six variants: E, S, S+, S(O), SX, and SX (O). As for the price, the Hyundai Venue starts from INR 789,200 (ex-showroom) and goes up to INR 1,333,700 (ex-showroom). The price of the Kia Sonet Facelift model hasn’t been revealed yet, but it’s likely to start from around INR 800,000 (ex-showroom).

Car Dimensions

The new Sonet model has a length of 3995mm, width of 1790mm, and height of 1642mm. It comes with a 2500mm wheelbase, 205mm ground clearance, and 392-liter boot space. On the other hand, the Venue comes with a length of 3995mm, a width of 1770mm, and a height of 1617mm. The wheelbase of the vehicle is also 2500mm, but it offers a ground clearance of 195mm and a boot space of 305 liters.

Special Features

Both cars come loaded with features. The new Sonet features a 10.25-inch infotainment display and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. Both models come with ventilated front seats, wireless phone charging, in-built air purifier, over 70 connected features, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, rear sunshades, and a sunroof. The Kia Sonet comes with six airbags (standard), a 360-degree camera, Electronic Stability Control, and 10 ADAS features. The Venue also offers six airbags, Vehicle Stability Management, Electronic Stability Control, and Hill Assist Control.
