Public Transport Extension in Delhi: Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) is set to introduce electric buses on a monthly basis. Additionally, 1,400 new bus stops will be constructed along old and new routes in Delhi, expanding the reach of bus services and providing convenience to the public.

According to Delhi’s Transport Minister Kailash Gahlot, an order for 6,000 electric buses has been placed. Once the buses are ready, they will be deployed on Delhi’s roads. New electric buses will be introduced every month in Delhi. Currently, there are 1,300 electric buses in the DTC fleet, and people prefer traveling in these eco-friendly buses due to their noise-free and pollution-free operation.

Construction of 1,400 new bus stops to improve accessibility: Delhi Transport Infrastructure Development Corporation (DTIDC) Manager (Civil) DP Dwivedi has announced the construction of 1,400 new bus stops in Delhi. These bus stops will be located along old and new routes, ensuring that commuters do not have to travel far to catch a bus. The existing iron bus stops have deteriorated and will be renovated as well.

Telephone facilities planned for bus stops in the near future: To provide convenience to commuters, telephone facilities will be installed at bus stops in Delhi. Currently, there are approximately 2,200 bus stops in Delhi, and the lack of route charts causes inconvenience to passengers. Route charts have been installed at all bus stops, and soon they will be available at every bus stop.

This will make it easier for passengers to catch buses. Help hotline numbers have been provided on the route charts ★8744073248, 011-41400400, 011-23370219, and toll-free number 1800118181. In case of any inconvenience, people can call these numbers to seek information and assistance.
