After learning about the incident, the student’s relatives and college students reached the accident site. They protested and demanded the arrest of the truck driver, leading to a traffic jam. The police intervened and the jam was cleared around 11:40 pm. The body was sent for post-mortem and 75,000 rupees were given for the last rites.
