Gold and silver prices in Patna have been witnessing an upward trend in the past few days due to the demand for purchasing them for the upcoming New Year. The rates of 22 and 24-carat gold have seen an increase of 500 and 600 rupees per 10 grams respectively. Additionally, the price of silver has also witnessed a surge of 500 rupees per kilogram. According to the Vice President of the Patliputra Sarafa Sangh, Ajay Kumar, there is a possibility of further increase in the rates of gold and silver.

The current rate of 22-carat gold in Patna on Friday (December 29) is 59,100 rupees per 10 grams, while the rate of 24-carat gold is 66,200 rupees per 10 grams. Previously, the rate of 24-carat gold was 65,600 rupees per 10 grams. Similarly, the rate of 22-carat gold was 58,600 rupees per 10 grams. This indicates an increase of 500 and 600 rupees per 10 grams in the rates of 22 and 24-carat gold respectively. Additionally, the rate of 18-carat gold today is 50,100 rupees per 10 grams.

The price of silver has also seen a significant rise. Today, the rate of silver has reached 74,000 rupees per kilogram from the previous rate of 73,500 rupees per kilogram. This indicates an increase of 500 rupees per kilogram. If you are planning to sell or exchange gold, the current exchange rate for 10 grams of 22-carat gold in Patna is 57,600 rupees. For 18-carat gold, the exchange rate is 48,600 rupees per 10 grams, and for silver, the selling rate is 71,000 rupees per kilogram.
