COVID-19 cases are increasing in Bihar as the cold weather continues. In the past 24 hours, seven positive cases have been reported in Patna, Gaya, and Darbhanga. Samples of the infected patients have been sent for genome sequencing by IGIMS. The health department has advised infected patients to stay in home isolation. People have been urged to wear masks and avoid crowded places. Immediate testing is recommended if COVID symptoms appear. It is important to follow the COVID guidelines issued by the Bihar government.
Three female patients have tested positive for COVID-19 in Patna. Two of them are from Patna district and the third is from Nalanda. They have been placed in home isolation. It is reported that they had come for treatment of other illnesses and tested positive for COVID during the testing.
In Rohtas district, four positive cases were found, including three young individuals and a 10-year-old girl. The positive girl is undergoing treatment at Narayan Medical College and Hospital, while the three young individuals are being treated in home isolation.
In the past 24 hours, three new COVID cases have been reported in Gaya district. This brings the total active cases in Gaya to five. Two of the COVID patients’ samples have been sent to Patna for testing. In Darbhanga, a 52-year-old woman with symptoms of cold, cough, and fever tested positive for COVID-19. The RT-PCR report from the Microbiology department confirmed her infection.
बिहार में कोरोना मरीजों की संख्या बढ़ रही है और पिछले 24 घंटों में पटना, गया और दरभंगा में कुल 7 संक्रमित मरीज मिले हैं। संक्रमित मरीजों के सैंपल को जीनोम सिक्वेंसिंग के लिए आईजीआईएमएस भेजा गया है और उन्हें होम आइसोलेशन में रखा गया है। लोगों से अपील की गई है कि सभी लोग मास्क लगाएं और घर से बाहर निकलने से बचें। इसके साथ ही पटना में तीन महिला मरीज मिली हैं, जिन्हें होम आइसोलेशन में रखा गया है। रोहतास में एक 10 साल की बच्ची और तीन युवकों में भी संक्रमण पाया गया है और उनका इलाज जारी है। गया में भी तीन मरीज मिले हैं और दरभंगा में एक महिला की कोविड रिपोर्ट भी पॉजिटिव आई है।
