Our calendar has changed. As soon as it struck 12 at night, fireworks started lighting up the sky. The sound of happiness echoed everywhere. And with all this, everyone started wishing each other a Happy New Year. But this time, 19 officers of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) are eligible for congratulations for their new positions along with the new year. These officers from the Bihar cadre are currently stationed in Patna and will be serving from the Prime Minister’s Office.
Atish Chandra, an IAS officer from the 1994 batch, has been promoted to the position of Chief Secretary. He will now be serving as the Principal Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office. Another officer, Vinay Kumar from the 1999 batch, has been promoted to the position of Secretary. He was previously serving as the Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways. Both officers will now be assigned new roles according to their new positions.
In addition to these promotions, 18 other IAS officers from Bihar have also received promotions. Among them are Dr. Ashima Jain, B. Kartikeya Dhanji, Pranav Kumar, Girivar Dayal Singh, Neelam Chaudhary, Suresh Chaudhary, and Sanjay Dubey. Seven officers from the 2008 batch have been promoted to the position of Secretary. Some officers have also received conditional promotions, although it is unclear whether they have fulfilled all the conditions within the given 12-day period. The announcements for their new positions have not been made yet.
वर्ष 2024 के नए साल के साथ भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा के 19 अफसरों को नए पद के लिए बधाई मिली है। इसमें अधिकारी अतीश चंद्रा और विनय कुमार भी शामिल हैं। इसके साथ ही, बिहार के 18 और IAS अफसरों को भी प्रोन्नति मिली है। इसमें डॉ. आशिमा जैन, बी कार्तिकेय धनजी, प्रणव कुमार, गिरिवर दयाल सिंह, नीलम चौधरी, सुरेश चौधरी और संजय दुबे का नाम शामिल है। इन सभी को हमारी ओर से हैप्पी न्यू ईयर की शुभकामनाएं।
