Maruti, one of the most reputable car manufacturers in India, has launched its Maruti Jimny New in the budget segment to compete with the Thar. This new addition to their lineup offers a much superior and modern alternative in the budget range, designed with fantastic aesthetics. Competition with Thar

The Maruti Jimny New is set to compete directly with the Thar in its segment in the Indian market. Based on records, both cars have significantly high off-roading capabilities, which differentiate them from one another. However, it is not to say that the Maruti Jimny New is superior to the Thar, but rather, there is competition between the two cars.

Speaking of features, Maruti has equipped its new Jimny with a five-slot vertical grill, round LED headlights with washers, bumper-mounted fog lamps, and a rugged body with five-spoke 15-inch alloy wheels for better off-roading capabilities. There’s also a broad wheel arch and an extra wheel on the tailgate. Inside, the Maruti Jimny New offers an infotainment system, a rectangular black dashboard, round AC vents, steering-mounted controls, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.

As for the engine, the Maruti Jimny New includes a 1.5-liter K15B petrol engine that produces 103bhp and 134Nm of torque, coupled with either a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmission. In terms of price, the company has launched this car in the Indian market at a price of around 12.74 lakh INR.
