Patna, Bihar’s education department, particularly the school education sector, has intensified its efforts to improve the quality of education with the actions of IAS officer KK Pathak. The recent issue is related to teachers teaching in government schools. The government is now focusing on those teachers who also teach in private coaching centers. All government teachers who teach in coaching centers have come under Pathak’s scrutiny. The government has requested the department to provide a list of all such teachers.

The government has requested the District Education Officers (DEOs) of all districts in Bihar to provide a list of government teachers who teach in coaching centers. The orders issued regarding this request include the names of the teachers, the names of the established schools, and the names of the coaching centers, along with all the necessary information.

In fact, the education department of the government receives complaints regarding teachers from primary to plus 2 levels that many teachers teach in coaching institutes while still being employed. In this regard, the government has now taken a serious stance on teachers who teach in coaching centers while working in government service. It is believed that once the list of such teachers is available, the department can take significant action against them.
