Gold and silver prices in Patna have seen a continuous decline in the first week of the new year. The rate of 22 and 24 carat gold has decreased by Rs 600 and Rs 700 per 10 grams respectively, while the rate of silver has also decreased by Rs 2000 per kilogram. According to the vice-president of the Patliputra Sarafa Association, Ajay Kumar, there may be further changes in the rates of gold and silver.
The current rate of 22 carat gold in Patna’s Sarafa market is Rs 58,200 per 10 grams, while the rate of 24 carat gold is Rs 65,100 per 10 grams. Previously, the rate of 24 carat gold was Rs 65,800 per 10 grams, and the rate of 22 carat gold was Rs 58,800 per 10 grams.
The prices of both 22 and 24 carat gold have seen a decrease of Rs 600 and Rs 700 per 10 grams respectively. Additionally, the rate of 18 carat gold has also decreased to Rs 49,300 per 10 grams. The price of silver has also decreased, with the current rate being Rs 71,000 per kilogram, compared to the previous rate of Rs 73,000 per kilogram. The exchange rate for 10 grams of 22 carat gold in Patna’s Sarafa market is Rs 56,800, while the exchange rate for 10 grams of 18 carat gold is Rs 47,800, and the rate for selling silver is Rs 68,000 per kilogram. However, the exchange rates may vary depending on the quality and hallmark of the gold and silver.
