Mahindra XUV400 Facelift: A Notable Addition to the Mahindra Car Lineup
Indian car manufacturer Mahindra has been known for its line of powerful vehicles that have been well-received by consumers. This year, the company is set to launch several new electric cars. The latest addition to their lineup, the Mahindra XUV400 Facelift, has been spotted during testing and some features of the car have also been leaked. There are no significant changes made to the car’s design.
Competing with Nexon EV Facelift
The new Mahindra XUV400 Facelift SUV is set to compete with the Nexon EV Facelift. A leaked YouTube video has revealed that the new electric car from Mahindra will be named XUV400 EL Pro. The new XUV400 Facelift SUV will feature wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a floating 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a new 10.25-inch all-digital instrument console, TFT displays, and a new flat-bottom steering wheel with copper finish twin peaks. Additional features will include a new USB port, wireless charger, front center armrest, and rear HVAC vents with USB-C ports.
Variants and Battery Specifications of Mahindra XUV400 Facelift
The Mahindra XUV400 Facelift will be available in two variants: XUV400 EC Pro and EL Pro. The EC Pro variant will come with a 34.5 kWh battery pack that will provide a driving range of 375 km on a single charge. On the other hand, the EL Pro variant will feature a 39.4 kWh battery that will be capable of providing a range of 456 km on a single charge. The car manufacturer will provide disc brakes on all four wheels of the Mahindra XUV400 Facelift. Furthermore, the car will feature three drive modes: Fun, Fast, and Fearless.
Fast Charging Capabilities of Mahindra XUV400 Facelift
The car will come with a 50 kW DC fast charger for charging the battery. With a 7.2 kW charger, the car’s battery can be charged from 0 to 100% in 6 hours and 30 minutes. However, with a 3.3 kW AC charger, it takes 13 hours to charge the car’s battery.
