Police have arrested four suspects, including the wife of the victim, in connection with the shooting of a government school night guard in Raghupur, Bihar. The guard, Jitendra Kumar, was shot and injured by criminals on December 8th and later died during treatment in Patna. The incident occurred in the area of Bihar’s Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav.
Jitendra Kumar used to live in Patna with his wife Rekha Devi. During this time, Rekha met a Nepali laborer named Pandav Safi who worked on the construction of a 6-lane bridge from Patna to Bidupur. Their closeness grew and it caused frequent arguments between Jitendra and Rekha. Eventually, Jitendra left Patna and started working as a guard at a government school in Rustompur, Vaishali, to get away from Pandav Safi.
After returning from Patna, Jitendra started working as a guard at a government school in Rustompur, Vaishali. Despite moving away from Patna, the love between Rekha and Pandav did not diminish. They would often meet, but it wasn’t enough. So, Rekha and Pandav planned to get rid of Jitendra forever.
On December 8th, Rekha and Pandav executed their plan to kill Jitendra. While Jitendra was sleeping in the school, the criminals, who were already waiting, started firing at him. He was injured in the incident. The police have arrested Rekha and three others in connection with the murder. The police claim that Rekha, along with her Nepali boyfriend Pandav Safi and two accomplices, conspired and killed Jitendra. The police have recovered a country-made pistol, a live cartridge, five mobile phones, and a motorcycle from the arrested suspects.
