During this time, offering a bowl of kheer (rice pudding) made with arwa rice in cow’s milk and offering mishri (sugar candy) to Goddess Lakshmi is recommended. You can also add white mishri to the kheer as an offering. By doing so, Goddess Lakshmi will be pleased, and there will never be a shortage of wealth and prosperity in your home.
After offering the bhog (food offering), it is important to perform a small task. After offering kheer and mishri to Goddess Lakshmi, one should feed a girl below the age of 7. Astrologer suggests that by feeding a young girl on Fridays after offering kheer and mishri to Goddess Lakshmi, she will be pleased. If one takes a bath, meditates, and performs the puja and archana of Goddess Lakshmi with a pure heart on Fridays, their wealth will always remain abundant.
