Delhi-Gurugram Rapid Rail Transit System Corridor: In the coming days, travel between Delhi and Gurugram is set to become much smoother and faster. The connectivity between these two cities will be so good that residents will be able to reach any city in minutes. The Dwarka Expressway is also soon going to become a milestone for Delhi-Gurugram. Let’s find out more about it.

The Delhi government has recently allocated 150 crore rupees for the construction of two major rapid rail transit system corridors in Delhi. These corridors, namely the Delhi-Gurugram-Shahjahanpur-Neemrana-Bahadurgarh Line and the Delhi-Panipat Line, will be completed soon, and high-speed trains will run on these lines. These trains, with a speed of 180 kilometers per hour, will not only save hours of travel time but will also connect cities that are 100 kilometers apart in minutes.

As an initial installment, two viaducts will be constructed with the allocated funds. The first corridor, Delhi-Gurugram-Shahjahanpur-Neemrana-Bahadurgarh Line, will be built at a cost of 100 crore rupees, while the second corridor, Delhi-Panipat Line, will be built at a cost of 50 crore rupees. This will not only benefit Delhi and Gurugram but also provide direct connectivity to four emerging cities in Rajasthan and Haryana: Shahjahanpur, Neemrana, Bahadurgarh, and Panipat.

Gurugram will become a hotspot and benefit the most from Delhi’s plan, thanks to the rapid rail transit system corridor up to Bahadurgarh. With the help of the Dwarka Expressway, Gurugram is already becoming a real estate hotspot. The connectivity provided by the rapid rail transit system will accelerate investment opportunities.

According to Pradeep Agarwal, the founder and chairman of Signature Global (India) Limited, the construction of two important corridors in the Rapid Rail Transit System (RRTS) will benefit many areas of Gurugram. It will fulfill the transportation needs on both sides of the Gurgaon-NH 48, including the Aerocity (Delhi) to Cyber City, Gurugram to Rajiv Chowk, Khedki Daula, and Manesar, and the RRTS route around Sector 37D. This will boost property values in these areas.

The Delhi-Gurugram-SNB RRTS project, to be launched in phases by NCRTC, will bring revolutionary changes in urban connectivity in the NCR, with Gurugram at its center. Established as a key player, Gurugram will emerge as a strong business and residential center. Aman Trehan, Executive Director of Trehan IRIS, said that the proposed Delhi-Gurugram-SNB RRTS corridor is expected to enhance the city’s basic infrastructure, leading to increased investment and business opportunities. Along with leasing activities, there is also a growing demand for Grade-A offices in Gurugram and emerging sectors. The upcoming corridors are expected to improve accessibility for travelers and open up new avenues for real estate development throughout the NCR.
