Police have arrived at a hotel in Muzaffarpur, Bihar to investigate a case where a man allegedly shot his girlfriend and then fled the scene. The injured girlfriend has been admitted to a private hospital for treatment. The police have seized weapons and several bullets from the hotel room and are examining the CCTV footage. The incident occurred when a young man booked a room in a hotel in the Kalyani area of Mithanpura for three hours, claiming that he needed to see a doctor. After some time, an argument broke out between the couple in the room, during which the man shot the girl. He then left the weapon in the room and escaped. The injured girl was rushed to a private hospital where she is currently receiving treatment. The police have arrived at the scene and are investigating the case, including examining the CCTV footage.
After the incident, the injured girl arrived at the hotel reception in pain. She was screaming in pain and lost consciousness upon reaching the reception. The hotel staff immediately informed the police and the manager. Due to the critical condition of the girl, further questioning has not been conducted yet. Once she recovers, the police will question her again to gather more information.
The suspect fled the hotel after the incident, leaving behind the weapon in the room, which contained three loaded bullets. The suspect and the injured girl were in a relationship. The hotel staff was negligent in their duties and did not even check their IDs. The register does not contain any information about the injured girl, and both the suspect and the girl had identified themselves as a married couple, although it was later revealed that they were not. The CCTV cameras in the hotel are also not functioning properly. Once the girl is able to speak, the entire incident will become clearer after further questioning.
