In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, out of Bihar’s 40 seats, the BJP won on 39 seats with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s face. The Janata Dal United was in alliance. At this time, JDU is against the BJP. Meanwhile, the report of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s dream project, the caste-based census, has revealed that 14.26% of the population in the state are Yadavs. Now, when the elections are approaching, it is certain that the support of the largest population is necessary for the BJP for development in Bihar. When Dr. Mohan Yadav was made the Chief Minister in Madhya Pradesh, it was considered that Bihar is the target of the BJP. Now Mohan Yadav has been called to Patna. He was not called by the BJP, but the preparations are being made by the party. When Mohan Yadav became the CM, RJD did not accept him in front of Lalu, but now the discussion of Lalu’s equation is at its peak with his visit to Patna.

BJP launching ‘Yadav’ mission

According to political pundits, the BJP is planning to launch the ‘Yadav’ (Yadav) mission in a state with 14.26% population. The entire team of Bihar BJP is preparing for it. However, under the banner of Shrikrishna Chetna Manch, a major event is being organized at SK Memorial Hall by the senior leaders of the BJP. MP Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will be felicitated here. Many prominent leaders of the society and retired officers will be present. After this event, Dr. Mohan Yadav will also visit the BJP office and ISKCON temple.

Yadavs still strong in the vote bank with Lalu’s hold

When it comes to the vote bank, Yadavs are still considered the core voters of the Rashtriya Janata Dal. The way RJD emerged as the largest party in the 2020 Assembly elections in Bihar, it is clear that although the BJP promoted leaders like Nand Kishore Yadav, Nitish Kumar, and Ram Kripal Yadav, Yadavs still have a separate hold on the vote bank. Experts say that the Yadav community benefited a lot during RJD’s government. There was improvement in their economic and political condition. That’s why Yadavs are still with RJD in Bihar. When Mohan Yadav was made the CM in MP, Bihar’s media asked Tej Pratap Yadav about it, and he said that Yadavs are descendants of Lord Krishna. It is good to see Yadavs being honored. However, a RJD legislator said that Mohan Yadav becoming the CM will not have any impact in Bihar. RJD leaders claim that Lalu Prasad is still respected by the Yadavs in Bihar.

Lok Sabha and Assembly elections viewed differently

In Bihar, Lok Sabha and Assembly elections are viewed differently. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the NDA won on 39 seats. At that time, JDU was with the BJP. Meanwhile, RJD won only one seat. About a year later, in the Assembly elections, RJD won 75 seats, while BJP won 74 seats. A few months later, four AIMIM MLAs joined RJD. This way, RJD now has a total of 79 MLAs. Experts say that the upcoming elections will determine which way the Yadav vote bank will sway in the Lok Sabha elections.
