In Sitamadhi, a robbery took place at a jewelry store located about 40 to 50 meters away from the Punaura police station. Since the incident, there has been negligence from the local police station. The locals are expressing their anger towards the police. The local people are questioning the police’s functioning and raising concerns about their work ethics.

According to the information received, jewelry shop owner Jayprakash Shah closed his shop and went home on Wednesday night, just like any other day. However, during the night, a robbery took place. When Jayprakash Shah arrived in the morning to open the shop, he found the shutter lock broken. It was discovered that the thieves had stolen all the items including gold and silver jewelry worth approximately 20 lakhs rupees. Currently, the inventory of the items in the shop is being taken.

A constable was sent to the scene for investigation.

Interestingly, when the police were informed about the incident, only one constable was sent to the crime scene. The local villagers accuse the police of not reaching the scene despite being informed about the robbery. After this, hundreds of people from the village reached the police station. There was chaos and commotion. Later, a constable was sent to the crime scene by the station in-charge. Currently, an investigation is being conducted regarding the robbery. The locals are expressing their anger towards the police.
