Jamui: Body of a woman who was killed by her in-laws by poisoning her in-laws and then burying her secretly in a cemetery to hide the mystery of the whole incident was unearthed after three months on the orders of the court. The incident took place in Ahisdi village under the Opie police station of Badgawan in Jamui district. The brother of the deceased woman, Mohammed Danish, had filed a complaint at the Opie police station, stating that his sister was killed by being fed poison. After the court’s order, a magistrate was appointed to exhume the body.

The body has been sent to Darbhanga DMCH for post-mortem. According to information, Parveen died in September 2023, after which her in-laws buried her. When her brother, who was living in another state, learned about the incident, he filed a murder case at the police station. After that, the police started investigating the case. Apart from the husband, five other people were also named as accused in the murder case.

After being arrested, the accused admitted to poisoning the woman and causing her death. This is why the post-mortem was not conducted, and the body was sent for post-mortem after being exhumed from the grave.
