Supaul to Host Inter-State Cricket Tournament at Outdoor Stadium: The outdoor stadium in Supaul city is set to host the Inter-State Cricket Tournament, Amantran Cup 2024, which will see the participation of 8 teams. The tournament will begin on January 28th and conclude on February 7th. Teams from Bihar, Nepal, Jharkhand, Kolkata, Northeast Railway Gorakhpur, Delhi, and Bengaluru will be competing in the tournament. The winning team will receive a cash prize of ₹1 lakh, while the runner-up team will be awarded ₹50,000. The tournament has been organized for the first time at the outdoor stadium, which has been equipped with a national-level turf.
Schedule of the Tournament: The tournament will consist of group stage matches from January 28th to 30th. The first day will witness a match between Jamshedpur and Nepal, followed by a match between Northeast Railway Gorakhpur and Bihar Eleven on the second day. On the third day, the winners of Group A will compete in the first semi-final match. The local group matches will take place from January 31st to February 3rd. Group B will have matches between Delhi and Dhanbad Railway on February 4th, and between Bengaluru and Kolkata on February 5th. The second semi-final between the winners of Group B will be played on February 6th. The final match between the winners of the semi-finals from Group A and Group B will be held on February 7th.
