Big Gift for the People of Begusarai District in the New Year
In a major development for the industrial growth of Begusarai district, a target has been set to establish 123 new industries in the next three months. This initiative aims to transform the district into an industrial hub and is expected to attract an investment of around 100 crores. Once these industries become operational, they will create new employment opportunities for 3-4 thousand people, leading to rapid development in the region. The plan to establish small and large industries, from the Biada Industrial Area to rural areas of Begusarai, will commence from Monday.
123 Industries to be Set Up in 90 Days
According to Rahul Kumar, an official of the District Industries Department, a target has been set to establish a total of 123 industries in collaboration with the people of the district within the next 90 days. Under the Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Program (PMEGP Scheme), loans up to 50 lakhs will be made available. This presents an opportunity to start 66 different types of industries, including agriculture-based food industry, paper industry, silk industry, forest-based industry, chemical and fertilizers industry, mineral-based industry, biotechnology and rural engineering industry, and textile industry, among others.

To avail the benefits of this scheme, one can visit the office of the District Industries Department located near the Begusarai Commercial Court and District Prohibition Office. The PMEGP Scheme provides a subsidy of up to 25% on loans for rural citizens of the general category and a subsidy of 15% for urban citizens. Only those who start new industries are eligible to receive this loan. This presents a great opportunity for aspiring entrepreneurs to become industrialists and contribute to the development of Begusarai district.
नए साल में बेगूसराय जिला के लोगों को एक बड़ा तोहफा मिलने जा रहा है। जिले को औद्योगिक क्षेत्र बनाने के लिए 123 नए उद्योग लगाने का लक्ष्य निर्धारित किया गया है, जिसके लिए 100 करोड़ का इन्वेस्टमेंट होने की उम्मीद है। इससे लगभग 3-4 हजार लोगों को नए रोजगार के अवसर मिलेंगे और जिले का विकास तेजी से होगा। इसके लिए बेगूसराय के बियाडा औद्योगिक क्षेत्र से लेकर ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में छोटे से लेकर बड़े उद्योग स्थापित करने की योजना शुरू होगी। इसके तहत 66 प्रकार के उद्योगों के लिए 50 लाख रुपये तक का लोन उपलब्ध कराया जाएगा। यह योजना बेगूसराय व्यवहार न्यायालय और जिला मद्य निषेध कार्यालय के पास जिला उद्योग विभाग के कार्यालय से लाभ ली जा सकती है। प्रधानमंत्री रोजगार सृजन कार्यक्रम योजना के तहत इस योजना का लाभ लेने वाले ग्रामीण नागरिकों को 25% तक की सब्सिडी और शहरी क्षेत्र के नागरिकों को 15% सब्सिडी मिलेगी। नए उद्योग शुरू करने वाले हीं इस लोन का लाभ उठा सकते हैं।
