Karpoori Thakur Jayanti, the 100th birth anniversary of former Chief Minister of Bihar, was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Patna’s Veterinary College Ground. A large number of people gathered here to listen to the speeches of JDU leaders. Other JDU leaders addressed the crowd before the arrival of CM Nitish Kumar. During this event, Gopal Mandal, MLA of Gopalganj Vidhan Sabha, criticized PM Narendra Modi for the Ayodhya Ram Mandir program. When he was stopped by the state president, the MLA got agitated on the stage itself.
The JDU organized a grand event at Veterinary College Ground in Patna to celebrate Karpoori Thakur Jayanti. Until CM Nitish Kumar arrived, other JDU leaders addressed the public. When Gopal Mandal, JDU MLA, took the mic, he started criticizing PM Modi for the Ram Mandir program. He stated that PM Modi was wrong to perform the Pran Pratishtha of Lord Ram’s idol alone. Gopal Mandal said that he had no contribution to the temple and it was built by donations from saints and wealthy people as per the Supreme Court’s order. CM Nitish Kumar talked about how Karpoori Thakur was awarded the Bharat Ratna and congratulated PM Modi in a sarcastic manner.
When Gopal Mandal started criticizing PM Modi regarding the Ram Mandir, JDU state president Umesh Kushwaha and the stage manager were taken aback. They immediately intervened and tried to calm Gopal Mandal, mentioning the shortage of time. However, Gopal Mandal was determined to express his views and showed his displeasure through the microphone. He not only criticized PM Modi but also compared him to CM Nitish Kumar and questioned his leadership. While concluding his speech, Gopal Mandal demanded that they should not stop him from speaking, as it would silence the voices of Bihar.
The announcement of conferring Bharat Ratna to Karpoori Thakur on his 100th birth anniversary was welcomed by various political parties, including JDU. On the other hand, PM Narendra Modi called JDU MP Ram Nath Thakur, the son of Karpoori Thakur, and congratulated him. CM Nitish Kumar also mentioned this during the JDU event and said that they have been demanding this recognition from every government since they came to power. Now, they appreciate the decision taken by the central government. Meanwhile, BJP and RJD also organized programs to celebrate Karpoori Thakur Jayanti.
पटना के वेटनरी कॉलेज मैदान में बिहार के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री जननायक कर्पूरी ठाकुर की 100वीं जन्म जयंती के अवसर पर एक बड़ा कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया गया। इस कार्यक्रम में बड़ी संख्या में लोग इकट्ठे हुए और जदयू नेताओं के संबोधन को सुना। सीएम नीतीश कुमार के आगमन से पहले जदयू के अन्य नेताओं ने भी अपना संबोधन पूरा किया। इस दौरान भागलपुर के गोपालपुर विधानसभा के विधायक गोपाल मंडल ने अयोध्या राम मंदिर कार्यक्रम को लेकर पीएम नरेंद्र मोदी पर हमला किया। जब उन्हें प्रदेश अध्यक्ष ने रोका तो वे बदहवासी दिखाए। जदयू विधायक गोपाल मंडल ने राम मंदिर के प्रति सवाल उठाए और पीएम मोदी पर बरसे। कर्पूरी ठाकुर को भारत रत्न मिलने की खुशी जाहिर की और पीएम मोदी की तारीफ की।
