BJP Calls Meeting of MPs and MLAs in Bihar Ahead of Lok Sabha Elections
The BJP has called a meeting of its MPs and MLAs in Bihar amidst the political buzz in the state. The party says that the meeting has been called to prepare for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The Bihar BJP chief stated that the party’s strategy for the general elections will be discussed. When asked about an alliance with the JDU, he said that there has been no discussion at their level. However, senior BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi stated that in politics, no door is ever closed and doors can be opened as per the need.
Congress Leaders also Hold Meeting Today
Meanwhile, Congress leader Shakeel Ahmad Khan has also called a meeting of MLAs and former MLAs in Purnia. Khan clarified that the meeting has nothing to do with the current political scenario. All the leaders will discuss the preparations for the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra by the Congress. The yatra will enter Bihar on January 29 and the first public meeting will be held in Kishanganj. This will be followed by rallies in Purnia on February 10 and in Katihar on January 31.
Transfer Orders for IAS and IPS Officers Issued
On Friday evening, transfer orders were issued for IAS officers and later in the night, the Home Department of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s government issued transfer orders for a large number of IPS officers. It is being said that the government is issuing transfer orders at the last moment due to the preparations of the Election Commission.
New SPs to be Appointed in Several Districts
According to the transfer orders issued by the Home Department, new SPs have been appointed in more than a dozen districts. The cities include Begusarai, Jehanabad, Arwal, Nawada, Saharsa, Purnia, Khagaria, Araria, Bagaha, Madhepura, Darbhanga, Munger, Sheikhpura, and Siwan.
बिहार में भाजपा ने अपने सांसदों और विधायकों की बैठक बुलाई है। इसका कहना है कि लोकसभा चुनाव की तैयारी के लिए बैठक बुलाई गई है। बिहार भाजपा प्रमुख ने बताया कि आम चुनावों के लिए पार्टी की रणनीति पर विचार-विमर्श किया जाएगा। वहीं, कांग्रेस नेता शकील अहमद खान ने भी दोपहर दो बजे विधायकों और पूर्व विधायकों की बैठक बुलाई है। उन्होंने बताया कि बैठक का वर्तमान राजनीतिक घटनाक्रम से कोई लेना-देना नहीं है और सभी नेताओं की भारत जोड़ो न्याय यात्रा से संबंधित तैयारियों पर चर्चा करेंगे। इसके साथ ही, आईएएस और आईपीएस अधिकारियों का भी तबादला हुआ है और कई जिलों में नए एसपी बनाए गए हैं।
