Four criminals involved in a bus robbery that took place in the Shivam bus traveling from Kolkata to Ranchi have been arrested. The official confirmation of the arrests has not been made by the police yet. According to initial information, all four were arrested near Birsa Chowk. The police are conducting interrogations with all the suspects. In this robbery case, infamous criminals Saddam and Nasir, along with two others, were arrested. It is also being reported that the police recovered more than 10 lakh rupees in cash from the arrested criminals.
On January 16, the robbery took place on the Shivam bus traveling from Kolkata to Ranchi, where four criminals looted three vegetable traders. The incident took place around 6:00 AM. The criminals had looted 18 lakh rupees from the traders. After the robbery, the criminals shot and injured the driver with a pistol. Following this, they stopped the bus near Navadih Mode in the Dasham Fall police station area and escaped into the nearby jungle.
To create panic, the criminals also fired shots during the incident. After the incident, all three traders reached the Dasham Fall police station and filed a complaint. The names of the looted vegetable traders are Taufik Alam, Jameel Akhtar, and Mohammad Shahid.
The incident occurred when the bus left Kolkata late at night and was passing through Bundo.
