Mahindra Thar 5 Door: A New Off-Road Electric Car

Mahindra is planning to launch the 5-door version of its popular off-road electric car, the Mahindra Thar. This model is expected to be introduced to the market at the beginning of February. The Thar 3 door has proved to be a blockbuster in Mahindra’s dedicated brand line and it is expected that with increasing fan followers, the 5-door model could prove even more successful.

Dashboard of the Mahindra 5 Door Thar

The dashboard of the Mahindra Thar 5 door has been designed in a brown and black color design-tone theme. It’s expected to have upholstery to match the design-tone theme. The car company has enhanced features such as circular AC vents, a climate control system, and chunky grab handles for passengers. There is also a large space that appears bigger than the 3-door Thar model.

Design of the Mahindra 5 Door Thar

The Mahindra 5 door Thar may come with a large touchscreen, possibly a 10.25-inch unit, which is becoming standard in the country. The original 3-door Mahindra Thar had a 7-inch touchscreen which had been criticized for its small size, average slope, and shape. The new Thar 5-door is expected to maintain the off-road capabilities of the 3-door model, but will be more practical.

The 5-door Thar will have two engine options, including a 2.2-liter petrol engine with 130 HP and a 2.0-liter petrol engine with 150 HP. Both engines will have 6-studio studio and 6-studio studio options.
