Porsche Launches the New Macan EV

Porsche has recently released the Macan EV, an all-electric SUV. The vehicle was first launched ten years ago, and now the company has prepared to launch its second-generation edition. Porsche has recently introduced the new e-SUV in two trims, Macan 4 and Macan Turbo.

Macan EV Pricing and Booking

In India, the price of the Macan Turbo has been set at 1.65 crore rupees. The bookings for this car have started and deliveries are expected to commence in the second quarter of the year. The Macan EV continues the design philosophy and performance of the original Mecan, now offering a good range.

Macan EV Battery and Performance

For your information, both versions of the Macan EV are equipped with a 95kWh battery. This car has a dual motor and all-wheel-drive setup on each axle. The Macan 4 is capable of generating an output of 400bhp and 650Nm of torque. This car can reach a top speed of 220 kmph and is capable of accelerating from 0-100 kmph in 5.2 seconds. On the other hand, the Macan Turbo’s output is 630bhp and 1,130Nm. It takes only 3.3 seconds for the Macan Turbo to reach a speed of 100 kmph from 0. Its top speed is 260 kmph.

Macan EV Features

The Macan EV, based on the all-new Premium Platform Electric (PPE) with 800-volt architecture, can be easily charged from 10 to 80 percent in about 21 minutes with a 270-kilowatt DC charging output. It features three screens ★a curved 12.6-inch instrument cluster, a 10.9-inch infotainment system, and an optional 10.9-inch screen for the front passenger. The car’s infotainment system is based on the Android Automotive OS. The Macan 4 is laced with steel-string suspension and the Macan Turbo comes with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) with electronic damping control. The PASM also features dampers with dual-valve technology.
