The Journey of Guddu Poddar’s Chaat Stall
Guddu Poddar, the owner of the stall, revealed that for the past 20 years, he has been serving spicy chaat near Amarpur Bus Stand. Initially, he sold chaat from a mobile stall, but now he has transformed an auto-rickshaw into a mobile shop. Every day, he sets up his stall near the bus stand and returns home with the auto-rickshaw in the evening. The chaat is priced at just 20 rupees, which attracts a large crowd, especially during the evening. Guddu prepares the papdi chaat by combining papdi, chola, chaat masala, finely chopped onions, three types of chutney, and tamarind water. The chaat is not only spicy but also incredibly delicious.
