Delhi Metro is expected to complete the 12.3 km corridor from Majlis Park to Maujpur or Pink Line by March 2025. The Magenta Line extension from Janakpuri West to RK Ashram and the new Silver Line from the airport to Tughlakabad could also be completed by March. The DMRC is planning to open the 2 km underground section from Janakpuri West to Krishna Park Extension for operation in July this year.
The Krishna Park Extension, which is a part of the Janakpuri West-RK Ashram corridor, is in its final phase of construction. The work of building tunnels on both sides has been completed and the construction of the Krishna Park Extension station is in its final stage. Track laying work is still ongoing.
