The three-day state-level bird festival will be organized in the Nagi and Nakati Bird Sanctuary in Jamui district of Bihar from 10th to 12th February. The festival is expected to be inaugurated by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Along with bird enthusiasts, bird experts from across the country and abroad will also gather at this festival. In addition to the festival, a team of bikers has been sent from Patna to Nagi and Nakati by the Department of Environment, Forest and Climate Change to provide information to the general public about bird conservation and increasing their population. Local officials are also providing information about this event. The aim of this festival is to protect all types of birds, increase their population, and provide information to the general public and nature about the benefits they provide. Various stalls will be set up at the festival, providing information about bird behavior and habitat. In addition, various events such as cycle rallies and quizzes are also planned, including local bird enthusiasts and conservationists.
बिहार के जमुई जिले में स्थित नागी और नकटी पक्षी अभयारण्य में 10 से 12 फरवरी तक तीन दिवसीय राज्य स्तरीय पक्षी महोत्सव का आयोजन किया जा रहा है। मुख्यमंत्री नीतीश कुमार के द्वारा इसका औपचारिक उद्घाटन किया जाने की संभावना है। इस महोत्सव में पक्षी प्रेमियों के साथ-साथ विदेशी पक्षी विशेषज्ञों की भीड़ भी जुटेगी। इसके साथ ही पर्यावरण, वन एवं जलवायु परिवर्तन विभाग द्वारा बाइकर्स का एक दल भेजा गया है जो पक्षियों के संरक्षण और उनकी संख्या बढ़ाने के संबंध में जानकारी देने के लिए आया है। इसके अलावा इस महोत्सव में स्थानीय पक्षी प्रेमियों और संरक्षणवादियों को भी शामिल किया जाएगा। पहली बार 2016 में आयोजित हुए इस कार्यक्रम में नीतीश कुमार समेत कई बड़े चेहरे शामिल हुए थे। नागी और नकटी अभयारण्य में घने जंगल, मोरम लेंड और अन्य प्राकृतिक संरचनाएं होने के कारण यहां विदेशी और देसी पक्षियों की बड़ी संख्या में आवाज रहती है।
