Railway Budget 2024: 92 stations of the East Central Railway will now be renovated under the Amrit Bharat Yojana to resemble airports. The construction of the Bihata-Aurangabad railway line will soon begin. The final survey of the third and fourth lines between DDU and Jhajha will also be completed soon. GM Anil Kumar Khandelwal of the East Central Railway announced this in a press conference at the Danapur Railway Board after presenting the 2024-25 general budget on Thursday.
An announcement of Rs 10,754 crore has been made by GM Khandelwal for the completion of new and old projects in the East Central Railway region of Bihar. The conference was attended by DRM Danapur J.K. Chaudhary, ADRM Aadar Raj, Senior DCM Saraswati Chandra, and other senior officials.
GM Khandelwal announced an allocation of Rs 376 crore in the budget for the Bihata-Aurangabad railway project. A total proposal of Rs 70,672 crore for several new and old railway projects of the East Central Railway has also been approved. He stated that 98% of the railway lines in Bihar have been electrified. Under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, 92 stations are undergoing reconstruction. Rs 1,268 crore for new railway lines, Rs 593 crore for overbridges and underpasses, and Rs 789 crore for passenger facilities have been allocated. Rs 2,719 crore has been allocated for doubling the lines.
There are also gifts for these railway divisions. In the 2024 budget, Rs 1,000 crore has been allocated for railway modernization and Rs 2,460 crore for the safety fund. Bodh Gaya-Chatarra railway line receives Rs 549 crore, Nawada-Lakhisarai railway line receives Rs 620 crore, Jhajha-Bhatia railway line receives Rs 496 crore, Karauta-Manakatta railway line receives Rs 128 crore, Kiul Bypass receives Rs 128 crore, and Ara Bypass receives Rs 118 crore. . . . .
2024 के रेलवे बजट में पूर्व मध्य रेलवे के 92 स्टेशनों का नवीनीकरण अमृत भारत योजना के तहत किया जाएगा। इसके अलावा बिहटा-औरंगाबाद रेलवे लाइन का निर्माण भी शुरू होगा। डीडीयू और झाझा के बीच तीसरी और चौथी लाइन का सर्वेक्षण भी पूरा हो जाएगा। बजट में 10,754 करोड़ रुपये की धनराशि घोषित की गई है जिसमें नई और पुरानी परियोजनाओं को पूरा करने के लिए आर्थिक सहायता दी जाएगी। इसके साथ ही बजट में रेलवे नवीकरण और सुरक्षा के लिए अलग-अलग धनराशि भी आवंटित की गई है।
