Ola Electric Announces Launch of New S1 X 4 kWh Electric Scooter Variant

Ola Electric has announced the launch of its new S1 X 4 kWh electric scooter variant, offering a higher range at a lower price. The new Ola S1 X 4 kWh has a range of 190 km on a single charge. The 4 kWh battery pack e-scooter is the largest in the S1 X lineup. It is priced at ₹1.10 lakh, which is approximately ₹20,000 more expensive than the S1 X 3 kWh variant. Meanwhile, the entry-level Ola S1 X 2 kWh trim is priced at ₹79,999. All these prices are ex-showroom.

Ola S1 X 4 kWh Features

The Ola S1 X 4 kWh will have the same mechanical features as the S1 X 3 kWh variant. It is capable of catching speed in 3.3 seconds from 0 to 40 km. Its top speed is estimated at 90 km/h. Its electric motor is 6 kilowatts, capable of generating 8 BHP power. It will come with three riding modes: Eco, Normal, and Sport.

Delivery Schedule for 3 kWh Variant

Ola has also confirmed that the delivery of the S1 X 2 kWh and 3 kWh variants will start from April 2024. The delivery of the new S1 X 4 kWh variant will also begin in April, while bookings for the top-range variant have now begun.

Availability of 600 Service Stations

In addition, the company has announced the availability of 600 service stations. Ola CEO Bhavish Aggarwal has announced that the company will expand its charging infrastructure to 10,000 fast chargers by the next quarter. The company claims that the new charger will be available at public locations and will be 70-80% faster than the standard charger coming with the Ola scooter.
