Delhi Amritsar Bullet Train: The Deputy Commissioner of Panipat, Dr. Veerendra Kumar Dahiya, held a meeting with officials of the National High-Speed Rail Corporation at the district secretariat. During the meeting, he discussed various aspects of the corridor with the officials. Several village sarpanches also attended the meeting. The Ministry of Railways has handed over a detailed project report for the high-speed rail corridor to the National High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited.
Proposed Speed of 320 Kilometers Per Hour: During the meeting, the DC mentioned that a high-speed rail corridor will be developed between Delhi and Amritsar. The corridor will be approximately 474.772 kilometers long, with a length of approximately 31.74 kilometers in Panipat. This project will cover 22 villages. Once implemented, it will become the primary corridor connecting Delhi, Chandigarh, and Amritsar. The corridor will have a 55-foot wide railway track for the bullet train, with a proposed speed of 320 kilometers per hour. It is expected to reduce travel time between Amritsar and Delhi to less than two hours.
Development and Sacrifices: The DC urged the sarpanches to not hesitate in making sacrifices for the development of the country. He emphasized that the operation of high-speed trains will not only make long-distance travel comfortable but also accelerate the development of the region. Every possible effort will be made to complete this pilot project.
Project Details: The project covers 22 villages in the district, with a length of 31.74 kilometers. The total affected area is 62.33 hectares, including three tehsils. The travel time between Delhi, Chandigarh, and Amritsar will be reduced with the implementation of this corridor.
हरियाणा के पानीपत जिले के उपायुक्त डॉ. वीरेंद्र कुमार दहिया ने राष्ट्रीय हाई स्पीड रेल कॉरपोरेशन के अधिकारियों के साथ बैठक की जहां उन्होंने दिल्ली से अमृतसर तक हाई स्पीड रेल कॉरिडोर की विस्तृत परियोजना के बारे में चर्चा की। इस परियोजना में कुल 22 गांव शामिल हैं और परियोजना की लंबाई 31.74 किलोमीटर होगी। यह परियोजना दिल्ली-चंडीगढ़-अमृतसर कॉरिडोर को प्राथमिक कॉरिडोर बना देगी और यात्रा का समय दो घंटे से कम होगा। डॉ. दहिया ने सरपंचों को यह संदेश दिया कि हाई स्पीड रेल कॉरिडोर के परिचालन से क्षेत्र का विकास भी होगा। परियोजना में करीब 62.33 हेक्टेयर क्षेत्र प्रभावित होगा।
