Hisar Metropolitan Authority established by the Haryana Government
The Haryana government has established the Hisar Metropolitan Authority to make the city better. This will ensure consistent and equitable development of Hisar. Similar authorities have been set up in Gurugram, Faridabad, Sonipat, and Panchkula. Under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Manohar Lal, the Haryana Cabinet approved the draft of the Hisar Metropolitan Development Authority Bill 2024 in Chandigarh today.
Hisar Metropolitan Development Authority to provide better facilities
The Hisar Metropolitan Development Authority will work on the lines of the four existing authorities in the state to provide better facilities to the residents of the city. Kamal Gupta stated that a senior IAS officer will be appointed as the chairman of the Hisar Metropolitan Development Authority.
Upgrade to metropolitan city status to bring rapid development
According to Kamal Gupta, granting metropolitan city status to Hisar will not only change the city’s image but also accelerate its development with the arrival of major projects. The residents will soon benefit from improved facilities.
हरियाणा सरकार ने हिसार मेट्रोपॉलिटन अथॉरिटी की स्थापना की है ताकि शहर का विकास सुनिश्चित हो सके। गुरुग्राम, फ़रीदाबाद, सोनीपत और पंचकुला में भी प्राधिकरण स्थापित किए गए हैं। हरियाणा मंत्रिमंडल ने आज चंडीगढ़ में हिसार महानगर विकास प्राधिकरण विधेयक 2024 को मंजूरी दी है। इससे हिसार के लोगों को बेहतर सुविधाएं मिलेंगी और शहर का विकास भी तेजी से होगा। हिसार महानगर विकास प्राधिकरण का अध्यक्ष एक वरिष्ठ आईएएस अधिकारी होगा।
