Delhi Traffic: Section 144 imposed in Noida
The police have imposed Section 144 in Noida and sealed all borders of the district for the next 24 hours. The DIG and Additional CP Shivhari Meena stated that the entire police force has been deployed at all borders to ensure convenience for the general public.
Protests by farmers leading to increased inconvenience
The ongoing protests by farmers, led by the United Farmers’ Front, have caused major traffic congestion and increased troubles for the common people. Roads are jammed with vehicles, causing delays of hours for journeys that usually take a few minutes. The roads are filled with vehicles, and only vehicles can be seen as far as the eye can see.
Traffic jams despite police presence
Although the police are present on the roads, they seem ill-prepared to handle the traffic congestion. In anticipation of the farmers’ protests, Noida had announced traffic diversions. However, severe traffic jams were still expected. Now, Noida’s security has come to a standstill, causing traffic to halt towards Delhi and Greater Noida.
Traffic diversions implemented on various roads
To avoid any kind of disorder, police have been deployed at several police stations, from Mahamaya Flyover to Chilla, DND Border. Traffic diversions will be implemented as required at Golchakkar Chowk, Sector-15, Rajnigandha Chowk, Sector-06, Chowki Chowk, Jhundpura Chowk, Sector-8/10/11/12 Chowk, and Harola Chowk.
दिल्ली में किसानों के विरोध प्रदर्शन के कारण ट्रैफिक जाम बढ़ गया है। सड़कों पर लम्बी लाइनें बनी हुई हैं और गाड़ियां रेंग रही हैं। पुलिस ने नोएडा में धारा 144 लागू की है और जिले की सभी सीमाएं भी 24 घंटे के लिए सील कर दी गई हैं। पुलिस बल सभी बॉर्डर पर तैनात हैं और आम जनता को भी किसी असुविधा से बचाने का प्रयास किया जा रहा है। कई सड़कों पर ट्रैफिक डायवर्ट किया गया है और महामाया फ्लाईओवर, चिल्ला, डीएनडी बॉर्डर आदि पर पुलिस तैनात की गई है।
