15 Days After the Formation of the New Government in Bihar

The Nitish government will seek a vote of confidence in the assembly today, 15 days after the formation of the new government in Bihar. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will present the vote of confidence in the Bihar Legislative Assembly on Monday, followed by a discussion in support of the vote and voting by legislators in favor or against the government in the assembly.

Budget Session of the Assembly Begins on Monday

The budget session of the legislative assembly in Bihar will also commence on Monday. The proceedings of the assembly and council will begin at 11 am. Following this, the speaker and chairman will give their initial addresses, and then the members of both houses will gather in the central hall, where Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar will address the joint session. After the governor’s speech, the members will return to their respective houses and the proceedings will begin.

Vote of No Confidence Proposal Against the Speaker

During the assembly proceedings, a proposal to remove Speaker Avadh Bihari Choudhary will be presented. If necessary, a vote of no confidence against the speaker will be held, with members voting for or against the motion. After the speaker assumes office, the Chief Minister will present the proposal for obtaining a vote of confidence in the assembly, followed by the presentation of the state government’s economic survey report in the house.

बिहार में नई सरकार के बनने के 15 दिनों बाद आज यानी सोमवार को नीतीश सरकार को सदन में विश्वासमत हासिल करना है। बिहार विधानसभा में विश्वास मत पेश करने के बाद सदन में चर्चा होगी और विधायक मतदान करेंगे। सोमवार से ही बिहार में विधानमंडल का बजट सत्र भी शुरू हो रहा है। इसके दौरान सदन में अध्यक्ष अवध बिहारी चौधरी को हटाने के लिए प्रस्ताव पेश किया जाएगा। विधानसभा में कुल 243 विधायक हैं और सत्ता पक्ष का दावा है कि उसके पास 128 विधायक हैं। हालांकि राजद का दावा है कि वो सदन में नीतीश सरकार के खिलाफ बहुमत नहीं हासिल करेगी।
