Bihar government had constructed a girls’ hostel in Hanuman Nagar, Kolhanata Patori, with the aim of providing better education facilities to students. The hostel was designed to accommodate 100 students, but it is now becoming empty. The main reason behind this is the transfer of teachers from the TET-1 school here. Teachers have resigned and are contributing to new schools, affecting the education of students. As a result, students have started returning to their homes due to the lack of proper study arrangements.
The girls’ hostel in Hanuman Nagar, Kolhanata Patori, was established on January 17, 2017. It was initially a regular hostel, but in 2019, it was officially designated as a Kasturba Type-4 school. Since then, the girls’ hostel has been operating as a Kasturba Type-4 school. The hostel has 100 seats, and students are enrolled here. Previously, there was an issue where students needed tuition for their 10th and Intermediate exams. The department was informed about this, and three subject teachers were appointed through online exams. Permanent arrangements were made for language, social science, mathematics teachers, and a warden. Free provisions for food, stationery, and scholarships were also provided. However, currently, there is a problem arising in the hostel as the selection of representative teachers was done under BPSC, which has increased the students’ troubles.
Students are leaving the hostel. In this situation, the management of the hostel is facing difficulties. The Education Department has been informed about this. For the past three months, students’ studies have been disrupted. Although teaching activities are ongoing in the school, the arrangement for tuition inside the hostel has been discontinued. Initially, 100 students were enrolled, but currently, only 30 students are staying in the hostel, while 70 students have already left.
बिहार सरकार ने अभिनव कुमार के द्वारा कोल्हनटा पटोरी के बालिका छात्रावास का निर्माण किया था ताकि छात्रों को बेहतर शिक्षा मिल सके। इस छात्रावास में 100 छात्राओं का आवास प्रबंधित किया गया था, लेकिन अब यह छात्रावास खाली होने लगा है। इसकी मुख्य वजह यह है कि यहां के शिक्षक नए स्कूल में जाकर योगदान दे रहे हैं, जिससे छात्रों की पढ़ाई प्रभावित हो रही है। छात्रों को अब अपने घर लौटना पड़ रहा है। इस समस्या को देखते हुए शिक्षा विभाग को सूचना दी गई है।
