Upcoming Launch of Updated Bajaj Pulsar NS200

Fans of Bajaj Pulsar have reason to rejoice as Bajaj Auto recently hinted at the imminent launch of an updated Pulsar NS200 in the Indian market. The hint came via a teaser posted on Pulsar’s Instagram page. Though no specific details regarding the upcoming model have been provided, media reports suggest that the 2024 Pulsar NS200 could sport new color options and cosmetic updates. There is also a possibility that the present semi-digital instrument cluster might be replaced with an updated digital cluster.

Potential Details of the Bike’s Engine

According to a report from HT Auto, the new digital instrument cluster is likely to be equipped with Bluetooth connectivity and could be synced with a mobile application. Meanwhile, the bike is expected to retain its 199.5cc, liquid-cooled engine, which generates maximum power of 24bhp at 9,750 RPM and peak torque of 18.74Nm at 8,000 RPM. The bike’s engine is likely to be connected to a 6-speed transmission.

Bike Expected to Feature Dual-Channel ABS

For suspension, the Pulsar NS200 is expected to have a perimeter frame with upside-down forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear. Braking is likely to be facilitated by disc brakes on both sides, equipped with dual-channel ABS. However, Bajaj Auto has not yet officially disclosed the launch date or the features. Bajaj is in the process of updating several models in its Pulsar range this year.

Entry of New Chetak

In addition to the updated Pulsar, Bajaj is also preparing to launch a new model of the popular Chetak. The company recently updated the Chetak range. The existing Chetak Urban and Premium variants are available at starting prices of INR 1.15 lakh and INR 1.35 lakh respectively.
