Launch of iPhone 15 Series by Apple
Apple, the American device manufacturer, launched the iPhone 15 series in the country last September. The series includes iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max. The base model, iPhone 15, had three storage capacities and features Apple’s A16 Bionic chipset.
Discounts on iPhone 15 during Valentine’s Day Mobile Bonanza by Flipkart
Leading e-commerce platform, Flipkart, will offer discounts on iPhone 15 during the Valentine’s Day Mobile Bonanza from February 9th to 15th. The 128GB version was available at 79,900 rupees, 256GB version at 89,900 rupees, and the 512GB version at 1,09,900 rupees. The 128GB version is now available on Flipkart for 66,999 rupees, a discount of 12,901 rupees. HDFC Bank customers can save an additional 2,000 rupees using their credit cards, bringing the price of iPhone 15 down to 64,999 rupees. Customers of Bank of Baroda, HSBC, DBS, and City Bank can also avail an extra 10% discount, up to 1,500 rupees, thereby reducing the smartphone’s price to 63,499 rupees. Flipkart also offers a cashback of 3,300 rupees on Axis Bank credit cards.
Specifications of iPhone 15
The smartphone is available in pink, green, yellow, black, and blue colors. It features a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display with a maximum brightness level of 2,000 nits. The dual rear camera of iPhone 15 includes a 48-megapixel wide-angle camera and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens. A 12-megapixel front camera is available for selfies and video calls.
Apple’s Expansion in India
Last year, Apple also opened two retail stores in India which are receiving a good response. In recent years, iPhone sales in the country have increased significantly. This was the first time that Apple made its domestically produced iPhone 15 series smartphones available on the first day of its international sales. Previously, the company sold products after the launch date of its Made in India iPhones. The smartphone is being manufactured in Chennai by Apple’s contract manufacturer Foxconn. The company plans to shift most of its production capacity to China.
