Rajasthan News: Kuchaman city in Rajasthan has received a big gift as it will soon be classified as a developed city. A budget of 89.23 crores has been approved for this purpose. The city held its regular municipal council meeting on Monday after seven months. The meeting unanimously approved the budget of 89.23 crores for the year 2024-25.
The meeting was chaired by President Asif Khan and was attended by State Minister Vijay Singh Chaudhary. With the presence of State Minister Vijay Singh Chaudhary, the budget for the year 2024-25 was passed. He announced that 4 crores will be allocated for the Indira Gandhi Urban Self-Employment Scheme, 4 crores for cement road construction, 5 crores for tar road construction, 3 crores for other roads, 2.50 crores for drainage construction, 1.30 crores for beautification and other construction work, 4 crores for divider construction and education gate, 3 crores for town hall construction, and 2 crores for city park construction.
In addition, 2 crores will be allocated for the construction of squares, 1 crore for stadium construction, 2 crores for various development works under the Swachh Bharat Mission, 1 crore for CCTV cameras in the municipal area, 50 lakhs for public toilets, 20 lakhs for garden construction, 50 lakhs for Muktidham and graveyard, 50 lakhs for community building construction and repair work, and proposals for LED lights with high mast and mini high mast were also approved with a cost of 2.50 crores.
Councilors Bhagirath Kumawat, Mansingh Morra, Fajlurrahman, and Farooq Khan counted the shortcomings in RUDIP’s work in the city and demanded improvements. Councilor Fajlu Rahman stated that the RUDIP employees have been negligent during their work, which is affecting the general public. Currently, in the colonies where sewage and drinking water lines are being laid, roads are not being dug according to regulations. Farooq Khan explained that there should be improvement in this matter. Opposition leader Anil Singh Medetiya raised the issue of clearing grazing land.
राजस्थान के कुचामन शहर को 89.23 करोड़ रुपये का बजट स्वीकृत किया गया है जिससे यह शहर विकसित शहर की श्रेणी में आएगा। इसके लिए सामान्य नगर परिषद ने बैठक आयोजित की जिसमें राज्य मंत्री विजय सिंह चौधरी भी मौजूद रहे। इस बजट के तहत कई विकास कार्यों को मंजूरी मिली है जैसे सड़क निर्माण, सौंदर्यीकरण कार्य, टाउन हॉल निर्माण, सिटी पार्क निर्माण, चौपाटी निर्माण और स्वच्छ भारत मिशन के तहत विकास कार्य। पार्षदों ने कर्मचारियों की लापरवाही पर भी ध्यान दिया और सड़क खोदने में सुधार की मांग की।
