Murder of RJD Leader Found in Deep Pit in Bihar’s Sasaram
A shocking incident has taken place in the Karbandiya area of the Mufassil Thana region in Sasaram, Bihar, where the body of an RJD leader has been found in a deep pit. The deceased, Keshav Pal, was a worker of the Rashtriya Janata Dal. Local residents have alleged murder in the case. Keshav Kumar Pal, a resident of Gayghat village, has been identified as the victim. It is said that on Wednesday evening, when he was returning home on his bike from his clinic, located near Gayghat, the incident took place, after which his body was recovered by people early in the morning.

Following this incident, there was chaos in the family. In protest against the incident, local residents placed the body of the deceased on the road near Amra Talab and blocked the road leading to Dehri from Sasaram. Upon receiving information, the SDM of Sasaram, Ashutosh Ranjan, along with the local police force, reached the spot and appealed to the people to maintain peace. The people are demanding a prompt investigation into the murder case.
Background of the Deceased and the Incident
The deceased, Keshav Kumar Pal, was a rural doctor and a worker of the RJD. He also ran a small clinic near the Amrit Talab market. When he left his clinic on his bike yesterday evening, his whereabouts were not known. Later, his body was found this morning. It should be noted that this area is associated with stone mining, which has resulted in large pits being formed along the mountain edges, filled with water. Keshav Kumar Pal’s village was also in the same area. It is possible that the incident occurred while he was on his way home. The police are currently investigating the entire case, and the family has denied any enmity with anyone.
