**Police investigating PFI’s terror module in Fulwari Sharif**
After a three-day interrogation by the district police in the case related to the banned organization Popular Front of India (PFI) and its terror module in Fulwari Sharif, crucial information has been obtained. The district police have questioned both the accused, Mo Yakub alias Sultan from East Champaran district and Mo Belal alias Irshad. More than 70 questions were asked to both suspects during the interrogation, which also involved the Muzaffarpur police, NIA, ATS, and intelligence agencies. After the completion of the three-day remand period, both accused were sent to Beur Jail in Patna.
**Yakub had significant influence in the organization**
According to the interrogation, several pieces of information were gathered from the two accused in Beur Jail. It was found that a large sum of terror funding was demanded in one of Belal’s bank accounts, which was then transferred quickly by Belal. Yakub had a significant influence in the PFI organization, recruiting people, and providing information related to the organization’s activities. He was well-informed about the organization’s plans and meetings, making him a key figure in the PFI.
**Knowledge up to funding was maintained**
During the interrogation, it was revealed that Yakub also held a prominent position in the PFI. He had knowledge of the organization’s expansion and funding, playing a crucial role in advancing the PFI. Sufficient evidence has been obtained by the police during the questioning and investigation of Yakub and Belal. Additionally, information about several other individuals was gathered during the interrogation. After three days of questioning, the police will soon file a charge sheet against the accused.
**Police searching for other suspects**
Previously, the NIA had filed charge sheets against two other arrested suspects, Mo Riaz and Mo Maroof, in the Fulwari Sharif case. The police are currently investigating further in the case and searching for a fugitive suspect, Mo Afroz, who has not yet been apprehended. The police are actively working on locating and apprehending the remaining suspects involved in the case.
