Chaos in Rangra after the discovery of a woman’s body
On Sunday, the atmosphere turned tense in Rangra under Navgachhia police district in Bhagalpur after the body of a missing woman was found. The relatives of the deceased became agitated after the discovery of the body and accused the police of negligence. A large number of people gathered quickly, leading to unrest. Several vehicles were set on fire in Dakshinbari Tola, and even the police car was damaged. It is reported that the angry mob has also resorted to violence against several individuals, and some journalists covering the incident were also reportedly assaulted. The situation escalated to the point where the police had to resort to firing, and a large number of police personnel are now camping in the village.
Chaos erupts after the discovery of the missing woman’s body
According to information, a woman had gone missing suddenly three days ago. Her body was recovered in Dakshinbari Tola. The relatives of the deceased became furious upon finding the body and created chaos. There are reports of an attack on the police team that arrived at the scene. Some enraged individuals also set fire to a few vehicles. Due to the seriousness of the situation, police from several stations are camping at the scene.
Allegations of police negligence
Local residents claim that when the body of a missing woman was found in Dakshinbari Tola, the people from the deceased’s community created a commotion. They allege that the police were negligent in handling the case, which led to the tense atmosphere. It is alleged that despite complaints about the woman’s disappearance, the police did not take the matter seriously. This negligence allegedly resulted in the woman’s murder. The deceased has been identified as Manoj Mandal, son of late Kamleshwari Mandal, and his wife Shobha Devi.
भागलपुर के पुलिस जिला नवगछिया अंतर्गत रंगरा में एक महिला का शव मिलने के बाद माहौल बिगड़ गया। दो दिन से लापता महिला का शव मिलने के बाद मृतका के परिजन आक्रोशित हो गए और बवाल काटा। पुलिस पर लापरवाही का आरोप लगा है और वहाँ बवाल करने वालों ने गाड़ियों को आग लगाई और पुलिस को भी क्षतिग्रस्त किया। घटना की गंभीरता को देखते हुए कई थानों की पुलिस मौके पर कैंप कर रही है। लोगों का कहना है कि पुलिस ने महिला की गुमशुदगी की शिकायत को गंभीरता से नहीं लिया और अब महिला की हत्या हो गई है।
