Bihar Agricultural University Organizes Two-Day Farmer’s Fair in Sabour
The Bihar Agricultural University campus in Sabour, under the Bhagalpur district of Bihar, hosted a two-day farmer’s fair. More than 160 stalls were set up in the fair, attracting thousands of farmers from Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and Jharkhand. Farmers were keen to see the vehicles used in farming and learn about their features at the fair. The use of drones for spraying in fields also drew a lot of attention.
Special Attractions at the Fair
Visitors flocked to the orchard exhibition to see a variety of fruits, flowers, and vegetables on display. A 25 kg pumpkin and 7 kg radish were among the main attractions at the fair. The fair provided a platform for farmers to explore new agricultural technologies and practices, enhancing their knowledge and skills in farming.
Interactive Sessions and Demonstrations
The fair also featured interactive sessions and demonstrations on modern farming techniques, organic farming, and sustainable agriculture. बिहार के भागलपुर जिला में बिहार कृषि विश्वविद्यालय कैंपस में आयोजित दो दिवसीय किसान मेले में बिहार, उत्तर प्रदेश और झारखंड के हजारों किसान भाग लिए. इस मेले में 160 से अधिक स्टॉल लगे थे और किसान उन वाहनों और ड्रोन को देखने के लिए उत्साहित थे जो खेतों में उपयोग हो रहे थे. उद्यान प्रदर्शनी में भी लोग विभिन्न फल, फूल और सब्जियों को देखने आए थे. 25 किलो का कद्दू और 7 किलो की मूली भी बड़ा आकर्षण बने रहे।
