The Weather Department officials attribute the changing weather patterns to the impact of cyclonic circulation at higher altitudes near Rajasthan and northern Bangladesh. This will lead to a mix of winds in opposite directions and increased humidity, resulting in rain and thunderstorms in the next 48 hours.

During the next three days, there will be a slight drop in the maximum temperature in Purnia, ranging from 26 to 28 degrees Celsius. Farmers are advised to take advantage of the cooler weather for wheat cultivation and post-harvest management. Avoid irrigation or pesticide application in other crops and vegetables during this time.
