Attack on Police Team in Gaya
In a liquor-related case, villagers attacked a police team that had gone to arrest a fugitive. Three policemen were injured in the attack. The villagers started pelting stones at the police when they reached the fugitive’s house to seize the property as per the court’s orders. During the commotion, an SLR rifle of a police constable was damaged, and the vehicle’s windshield was shattered.

Foundation Stone Laid for Riverfront Project in Simriya Ganga Dham
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is set to inaugurate the construction of the first riverfront project, similar to Har Ki Pauri in Haridwar, in Simriya Ganga Dham today. The road from Begusarai to Patna will be closed for two hours for those traveling to Patna. Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Kumar Jha stated that CM Nitish Kumar will also inaugurate 702 projects worth ₹1590.14 crore and launch 393 projects worth ₹1945.43 crore by the Water Resources Department during his visit to Simriya Ganga Dham.
