Bihar Agricultural University Working for Farmers
Bihar Agricultural University (BAU) has opened an Agricultural Technology Information Center at its headquarters, which will be crucial for farmers. BAU’s PRO Rajesh Kumar mentioned that the university is bringing various schemes for farmers. Previously, farmers had to visit different departments for different information, but now with the new Information Center, all information will be available under one roof.
Books and Research Information for Farmers
BAU will release a book on the work done by the university, which will be available for farmers to purchase. Local 18 team was informed that all the work being done by Bihar Agricultural University can be accessed there. Continuous research on new varieties will provide farmers with valuable information. Farmers can also seek information on organic farming, women empowerment in agriculture, and various other topics at the center.
Promoting Natural Farming and Empowering Women
PRO Rajesh Kumar mentioned that the center will specifically educate farmers on natural farming practices to encourage them to adopt it. Women will also receive training on various agricultural practices that can be done from home. Additionally, women will learn about industries they can start from home. The center aims to gather a variety of information for the benefit of farmers and empower women in agriculture.
सत्यम कुमार/भागलपुर में बीहार कृषि विश्वविद्यालय ने किसानों के लिए एक नया कार्यक्रम शुरू किया है। इस कार्यक्रम के तहत कृषि प्रौद्योगिकी सूचना केंद्र खोला गया है, जो किसानों के लिए महत्वपूर्ण है। इसके साथ ही विभिन्न स्कीमों के तहत किसानों को अब सभी जानकारी एक ही छत के नीचे मिलेगी। किसानों को प्राकृतिक खेती और और उद्योग के बारे में भी जानकारी मिलेगी। इस प्रोग्राम के माध्यम से किसानों को नए और उन्नत तरीके से खेती करने के लिए मार्गदर्शन मिलेगा।
