हाल ही में बिहार में महागठबंधन के दलों के बीच सीट शेयरिंग पर सहमति बन गई है और झारखंड में इंडिया गठबंधन के बीच भी सीटों के तालमेल की घोषणा जल्दी हो सकती है। इसे लेकर बड़ी घोषणा की जा सकती है, जिसमें लोकसभा चुनाव की तैयारियों के साथ-साथ सीटों के तालमेल का भी मामला होगा। बिहार में राजद, कांग्रेस, भाकपा माले और सीपीआई के बीच 28, 9, 2 और 1 सीट पर चुनाव लड़ने की संभावना है, जबकि झारखंड में कांग्रेस, जेएमएम, आरजेडी और सीपीआई एमएल के बीच 7, 5, 1 और 1 सीट पर चुनाव लड़ा जा सकता है। चुनाव आयोग की प्रेस कांफ्रेंस में इसकी घोषणा की जा सकती है।
