The discovery of a dead body in the Bind police station area near Forlen in Nalanda, Bihar, caused a sensation in the area on Friday morning. The police arrived at the scene after receiving information and found the body of a man in a naked state. The deceased has been identified as Umesh Raut (42), son of Naresh Raut, a resident of Nerut village in the Bind police station area.
According to the relatives of the deceased, they were informed by the local police that Umesh Raut’s body was found lying in the field. They then reached the scene and brought the body to Bihar Sharif Sadar Hospital along with the police. Umesh Raut was returning home from Ludhiana by train. It is unknown how he reached Bind and the cause of his death is subject to police investigation.
Umesh Raut used to work as a laborer in a private company in Ludhiana, where his entire family resides. He has two sons and two daughters. After receiving information about the incident, the family is returning to Ludhiana from Bihar. The Bind police station in-charge Roshan Kumar stated that passersby informed them about a man’s body lying on the roadside. Upon reaching the scene, the police identified the body and informed the relatives. A bottle of Sulphas (poison) was found near the body, and foam was coming out of the mouth. Further action will be taken upon receiving the application, and the police are currently investigating the entire sequence of events. The cause of death will be revealed after the post-mortem report.
