Bihar Government Approves 108 Proposals
The Bihar government has approved 108 proposals, including the construction of new airports in Bhagalpur and Rajgir. The existing airport in Bhagalpur will be relocated with a runway of six thousand feet and a terminal building. Similarly, Rajgir will also have a six thousand feet runway with construction approval from the Nitish Cabinet. Satellite townships and greenfield townships will be developed around major cities in the state as part of the approved proposals.
Salary Hike and Other Approvals
The state government has increased the inflation allowance for state employees by four percent, with a proposal approved by the Nitish Cabinet. Additionally, the Cabinet has approved the proposal to transfer 84 police outposts and 24 railway police posts to police stations to control criminal activities. The meeting also discussed and approved a long-term lease for the Moiul Haq Stadium in Patna to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for reconstruction.
Focus on Water and Waste Management
The Cabinet has also approved proposals for community toilets, sewage treatment, and bioremediation treatment for septic waste. A significant amount of funding has been allocated for projects like supplying drinking water from the Ganges to Patna and improving water supply in other cities. The Cabinet also approved the Bihar Export Promotion Policy 2024 to encourage investments in various industries and boost economic growth in the state.
नीतीश सरकार ने 108 प्रस्तावों पर मुहर लगाई, जिसमें भागलपुर और राजगीर में नए हवाई अड्डे बनेंगे और राज्यकर्मियों का महंगाई भत्ता 4 प्रतिशत बढ़ा। मंत्रिमंडल ने भी मोइनुल हक स्टेडियम को BCCI को लीज पर देने और जल और मल से जुड़ी योजनाओं पर मुहर लगाई। इसके साथ ही, निर्यात प्रोत्साहन नीति 2024 को मंजूरी दी गई और पटना म्यूजियम के लिए 61 नए पद सृजित किए गए। इसके साथ ही, अन्य संग्रहालयों के लिए भी 34 अन्य पद सृजित किए गए हैं।
