Case of Running Away with Underage Girlfriend for Marriage
The case of taking an underage Hindu girl from Jamui district of Bihar to Kolkata for marriage by two Muslim boys has come to light. Based on suspicion, the Railway Police took the underage girl’s boyfriend and another youth into custody at Jamui station. Later, after informing the girl’s family members, the Railway Police handed all three over to the Chandra Deep Police Station.
Details of the Incident
Reportedly, on Friday night, two youths and a girl were seen sitting on platform number one for a long time. The girl was wearing a burqa, waiting for a train to go to Bengal. When the Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel questioned them, they started giving evasive answers. The girl’s father mentioned that she had gone to take an exam in school but did not return, leading to a kidnapping case being filed at the Chandra Deep Police Station.
Love Story During Coaching
The boyfriend, Ansari, stated that they had been in love for four years, with the love blossoming during their coaching classes. He mentioned that talks of forcefully getting married were going on, which is why they had to run away. The Chandra Deep Police Station filed an FIR in the case of the girl’s abduction, and the police are taking necessary action in the matter.
