Approval of Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test Rules-2024
In a cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Hemant Soren, the Jharkhand Shikshak Patrata Pariksha (Second Amendment) Rules-2024 were approved. These rules were brought by amending the 2019 regulations. Previously, the state conducted the JETET exam in 2013 and 2016 to determine eligibility in primary schools. However, the previous regulations had several flaws, leading to the formation of new rules following important directives from the High Court.
