Unplanned Wedding on Holi
According to the elders, the dates of all events are pre-decided by a higher power. A similar incident was witnessed in Muzaffarpur, where a young man from Dronpur in Ahhiyapur Thana area was supposed to marry a girl from Mahindawara in Sitamarhi district in May. However, due to the boy’s desire to play Holi with his future wife before the wedding, they ended up getting married on the day of Holi itself, without any band party or DJ.
Unexpected Turn of Events
When the boy was leaving his house, he was beaten up after it was revealed that the girl he was supposed to marry resided in Mahindawara in Sitamarhi. To celebrate Holi, she had come to her aunt’s house in Meenapur block under Muzaffarpur district. After talking on the phone, the prospective husband for the girl arrived at her aunt’s house to play Holi. They even played with colors in the aunt’s house before leaving.
Quick Resolution with a Temple Wedding
After getting beaten up at home due to being unrecognizable with colors on his face, the family later realized their mistake. The family revealed that the wedding of both was supposed to take place in May. However, due to the misunderstanding, the villagers decided to go ahead with the wedding immediately. They took the couple to the SKMCH temple and got them married on the same day. This unique wedding has become the talk of the entire region.
